Every contractor applies to TAGS and submits proof of licensing and insurance before they can bid on a single project. TAGS reviews and approves each application manually. Contractors who receive poor ratings or fail to complete awarded work are removed from the platform.
What if no contractors bid on my project?
If no contractor bids within 48 hours, you receive an automatic text alert. TAGS notifies all approved contractors in your area who match your project type — so the right people always know the job is available.
Is my project data secure?
Yes. All data is stored on Supabase with row-level security — meaning each user can only see data they're authorized to access. Photos and documents are stored in encrypted storage. We never sell your data or share it with anyone outside of the platform operators listed in our Privacy Policy.
How does contractor pricing work?
Contractors pay a $100 annual membership to access the platform and bid on projects. When a bid is awarded, TAGS charges 1.5% of the bid amount. That's it — no per-bid fees, no monthly charges. A contractor who wins a $5,000 job pays $75 to TAGS.
Can I use TAGS on my phone?
Yes — TAGS is fully mobile-responsive. Post a project, upload photos from your camera roll, review bids, and message contractors all from your phone browser. No app download required for anyone.
